Which languages can I learn at Instituto Vinculum?
English, Spanish and Portuguese. In order to guarantee the highest standard of language training, Instituto Vinculum has limited the number of languages offered to these three.

Can I register for a standard course?
No. Instituto Vinculum provides tailor-made courses designed to meet the very specific needs and wishes of each individual course member. The majority of the courses are intensive, individual courses, but specialised training is also possible for small groups. Group training is, however, also tailor-made. It is necessary for each member of the group to have an individual intake before the course begins.

Can I learn a language in one week?
Instituto Vinculum does not perform miracles! If a course member is an absolute beginner, at least two weeks are necessary to achieve a solid basic knowledge of the language. For other course members, the length of the course depends on their language level at the beginning of the programme and on the work or social environment in which the language is, or will be, used. Those with an advanced level of the language who wish to improve certain aspects or nuances of the language will achieve good results during a week of intensive training.

How soon can I begin a course at Instituto Vinculum?
Clients do not usually have to wait long to begin their training. It is not possible to start straight away, because potential course members have to go through the intake procedure in order to determine their training needs.

Is it expensive to take an intensive language training course at Instituto Vinculum?
One week's individual intensive language training requires a considerable investment. However, the training is not expensive when one considers the fact that each course member is assigned a team of four professional teachers. They give private tailor-made lessons and they supervise the practice-sessions which take place with the help of the multimedia programme in the language laboratory. This results in unparalleled value for money.

What sort of teaching materials are used at Instituto Vinculum?
Instituto Vinculum uses lesson material developed within the institute, adapted specially to our method. Naturally, dictionaries and contemporary reference books are used as well. Teachers also keep up to date with developments in the world of business and current affairs.

Does Instituto Vinculum use e-learning?
Instituto Vinculum makes use of all forms of modern technology in its own unique way. A specially self-designed multimedia programme, which includes an extensive number of exercises, is used to support the language training given during the private lessons. In addition, we offer On-line Language Support.

Do I receive a certificate after completing a course?
Each course member receives a participation certificate at the end of the course. If requested, a progress report will be sent which details the course member's levels before and after the course, as defined by the European Framework of Levels of Modern Foreign Language Training.

Which requirements do teachers at Instituto Vinculum need to meet?
All teachers at Instituto Vinculum are native speakers. They also have university degrees or equivalent qualification from their country of origin. All teachers must also have followed an intensive internal training course at Instituto Vinculum.
